Ola Fresh cleanses your dental appliance in as little as 5 minutes. However, different appliances have different recommended soak times for the best results. Refer to the following care recommendations based on your oral appliance type.

IMPORTANT

If wearing a metal framework denture, Ask your dentist what type of metal was used for your appliance prior to cleansing with Ola fresh dental appliance cleanser. Ola Fresh dental Appliance cleanser is not recommended for use on prosthetics fabricated with Ticonium alloy. DO NOT use bleach, toothpaste, or similar cleaning products; these may scratch or discolored the surface of your appliance making them appear full and opaque.

Brush Your Teeth

Thoroughly brush the dirty appliance with a soft bristle dental appliance brush using water only. Rinse again.

Thoroughly brush the dirty appliance with a soft bristle dental appliance brush using water only. Rinse again.

Prepare Solution

Stir 1 entire packet of Ola Fresh denture cleaning powder into approximately 1 cup of lukewarm water and let it stand for 3 minutes. The prepared denture and dental appliance cleanser lasts up to 7 days.

Submerge

Soak your dental appliance in the solution for at least 15 minutes (total soak time varies for different ortho dental appliances). Aligners and dentures containing soft liners (flexible partials are not considered soft liners) should not be soaked for more than 15 minutes per cleaning.

Rinse Again

All removable dental appliances need to be rinsed thoroughly under running water before being re-inserted into the mouth.

  • Rinsing and Drying

    Before you put your dental appliance back in your mouth, make 
sure that you thoroughly rinse off any remaining solution. If you’ll 
be storing your device, let it fully dry before putting it into a clean, 
dry case. If your dental appliance has special storage instructions, be sure to follow them as well.

  • Mixing

    Ola Fresh prosthetic cleaner is easy to mix. Add the contents of 1 packet into about 1 cup of lukewarm water and stir. To make sure it’s fully dissolved, let the cup sit for about 3 minutes. After this, you’re ready to soak your dental appliance.

Retainer

Soak teeth retainers for 30 minutes a day. It’s perfectly safe to leave your retainer in the solution when it’s not in use, including overnight.

Aligner

Soak teeth aligners for a maximum of 15 minutes per day. When you’re not wearing your aligner, store it in a dry case.

Sportsguard

Soak sportsguards for 30 minutes per day. It is safe to leave the guard in the cleansing solution when you’re not wearing it. You can also keep it in a dry case.

Nightguard

Stir 1 entire packet of Ola Fresh denture cleaning powder into approximately 1 cup of lukewarm water and let it stand for 3 minutes. The prepared denture and dental appliance cleanser lasts up to 7 days.

Full Dentures & Partial Dentures

Soak acrylic full dentures or partial dentures for 30 minutes maximum per day to remove denture stains. It’s okay to leave them in solution when not in use, or you can keep them in a glass of water. Thermoplastic dentures* can also be soaked for 30 minutes per day. These are okay to leave in the solution when not in use, including overnight. *Thermoplastic dentures are those made out of plastic materials like polyolefin, polymer, nylon, etc.

  • Place Ola Fresh solution where it won’t be spilled or reached by children or pets.
  • If you have questions relating to your specific device, speak to your dentist.
  • Ola Fresh can’t replace good oral hygiene; continue caring for your mouth to prevent oral infections and stave off bacteria and calcium deposits (a.k.a. tartar or dental calculus).
  • Use Ola Fresh denture cleaning powder daily to prevent buildup, eliminate coffee, tea, and iron stains, and maintain your bright smile.
